Ingredients
- 1 (6 to 8 lb.) boneless chuck roast (frozen)
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 1 to 2 small cans mushroom steak sauce/gravy
- salt
- pepper
- seasoned salt
Method
- Place roast (frozen okay) in 9 x 13-inch or larger pan.
- Use salt, pepper and seasoned salt as desired.
- Sprinkle onion soup mix over top.
- Pour mushroom sauce over top of roast and in pan.
- Rinse can with water and pour in bottom of pan.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake 6 to 7 hours at 325° if frozen, less if not frozen (test for doneness after 4 hours).
- Use juice for gravy.
