Ingredients
- 4 to 6 center cut pork chops
- 4 to 6 large Idaho potatoes
- 4 coin sliced carrots
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1 stick margarine or butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Method
- In a 2 to 3-quart casserole dish, slice and evenly space 1 stick of margarine or butter.
- Peel, then thinly slice potatoes and layer over the bottom of dish.
- Spread carrot coins over potatoes. Place browned pork chops over carrots.
- Prepare onion soup packet with water as directed, then pour over pork chops.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Cover with foil; bake at 375° for 1 hour, or until liquid is absorbed.
