Ingredients
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. milk or peach juice
- 3 c. (1 can) sliced peaches
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Melt oleo in shallow baking dish.
- Sift flour, sugar, salt and baking powder in bowl.
- Add milk at once. Stir just enough to blend ingredients.
- Pour batter over melted oleo in baking dish.
- Spoon peaches on top of batter.
- Bake until golden brown.
