Ingredients
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 pt. fruit with juice
- 2/3 c. milk
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- pinch of salt
Method
- Melt margarine in a 9-inch square pan.
- Mix together flour, salt, sugar, milk and baking powder to make batter.
- Pour into pan on top of melted margarine.
- Pour fruit into center of batter. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until lightly browned on top.
