Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 cans (1 lb each) pork & beans or vegetarian beans
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- garlic powder
Method
- Saute 4 slices bacon
- Add 1/4 cup chopped onion and continue to saute until bacon is crisp. Drain fat. Dice bacon. Combine bacon, onion, 2 cans of beans, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, brown sugar and a dash of garlic powder. Pour into a 1 quart casserole dish. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 50-55 minutes or until beans are hot. Stir occassionally.
