Ingredients

  • 2 cups Raw Peanuts
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup White Corn Syrup
  • Baking Soda

Method

  • Mix peanuts, sugar and white corn syrup in a pan 3x larger than the mixture.
  • Bring to 300 degrees on candy thermometer - the mixture will not start to smell or turn brown until last 5-10 degrees
  • Stir or nuts will burn.
  • Once at 300 degrees take off heat and stir in the baking soda. It will foam up.
  • Pour onto buttered cookie sheet.
