Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. coconut
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. nuts (optional)
Method
- Mix together butter or margarine, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1 cup flour; press into bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake for 10 minutes at 350°.
- Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over crust.
- Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Cool.
- Cut into bars.
