Ingredients

  • 3 c. Bisquick mix
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning (or more to taste)
  • 1 (4 oz.) jar mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 c. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 green pepper, sliced

Method

  • Heat oven to 425°.
  • Lightly grease a jelly roll pan.
  • Mix baking mix and water until soft dough forms.
  • Pat dough in bottom and sides of pan.
  • Cook beef, onion, garlic and green pepper until beef is brown.
  • Mix tomato sauce and Italian seasoning.
  • Spread sauce over dough.
  • Spoon beef mixture over sauce.
  • Top with cheese.
  • Bake until crust is golden brown, about 20 minutes.
