Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cup whole milk
  • 6 oz parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method

  • Melt butter in a medium sized saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add cream cheese and garlic powder.
  • Whisk until smooth.
  • Add milk a little at a time, whisking to blend in lumps.
  • Stir in parmesan and pepper.
  • Remove from heat when sauce reaches desired consistency.
  • If it becomes too thick, simply add a little more milk.
  • Toss sauce with pasta and serve.
