Ingredients
- 1 pkg. Pillsbury lemon cake mix
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 pkg. Pillsbury lemon frosting mix
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
Method
- Mix with fork the first 3 ingredients.
- Pat into 13 x 9-inch or 10 x 15-inch pan, grease bottom only.
- Blend frosting and cream cheese (reserve 1/2 cup for topping).
- Add 2 eggs and beat 2 to 5 minutes.
- Spread over cake mixture.
- Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Cool and spread with 1/2 cup of the reserved frosting mixture.
- Cut in squares.
