Ingredients
- 3 to 4 lb. fresh cressic greens
- bacon or ham trimmings
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Wash greens and cut off roots.
- Place greens in large pot with water.
- Boil until tender.
- Drain off water.
- Cook ham or bacon trimmings in pan until fat has cooked out.
- Place drained grease into fat and mix with drippings and salt and pepper to taste.
