Ingredients
- 1 pkg. hot dogs
- Cheddar cheese, cut into 1/4-inch strips
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. crescent rolls
Method
- With a knife, make slit in hot dogs to within 1/2 inch of ends.
- Insert strips of cheese.
- Open can of crescent roll dough. Separate triangles (8).
- Flatten each triangle a little.
- Place hot dog on shortest side of triangle.
- Roll up.
- Place hot dogs, cheese side up, on cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375° for 12 to 15 minutes or until dough puffs up and turns golden brown.
- Makes 8 hot dogs.
- Serve with mustard, ketchup, etc.
