Ingredients
- 2 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
- 1 lb. cottage cheese or Ricotta cheese
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
Method
- Mix all ingredients together for 2 minutes.
- Pour into a greased spring-form pan and bake 1 hour and 10 minutes in a 325° oven.
- Let stand in oven 2 hours longer with heat off.
- Cake will develop crack on top characteristic of New York Cheese Cake.
- Take off sides of spring-form pan and refrigerate.
- Tastes better if made day before served.
