Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
  • 1 lb. cottage cheese or Ricotta cheese
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Method

  • Mix all ingredients together for 2 minutes.
  • Pour into a greased spring-form pan and bake 1 hour and 10 minutes in a 325° oven.
  • Let stand in oven 2 hours longer with heat off.
  • Cake will develop crack on top characteristic of New York Cheese Cake.
  • Take off sides of spring-form pan and refrigerate.
  • Tastes better if made day before served.
