Ingredients

  • 1 lb. boneless chuck, trimmed and cut up
  • 1/2 lb. carrots, cut up
  • 2 lb. potatoes, peeled and cut up
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 can beef bouillon
  • 1/2 c. flour

Method

  • Combine all ingredients, except broth and flour, in a large bowl.
  • Mix the broth (undiluted) and the flour until there are no lumps.
  • Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
  • Pour the thick broth over meat and vegetables and mix thoroughly.
  • Place mixture in a heavy covered pan.
  • Bake at 250° for at least 8 hours.
