- 2 lb. stew meat
- 2 c. sliced carrots
- 2 c. chopped celery
- 2 c. chopped onions
- 2 c. cubed potatoes
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1/4 tsp. marjoram
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. tapioca
- 1 bay leaf
- garlic salt to taste
- 2 to 3 c. tomato juice or beef broth
Method
- Combine all ingredients in 4 quart casserole.
- Cover.
- Bake at 300° for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or 250° for 4 1/2 hours until tender.
