Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon, cooked crisp
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 (16 oz.) cans pork and beans in tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. ketchup
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
Method
- Cook bacon until crisp.
- Remove bacon, reserving 3 tablespoons of drippings in skillet.
- Crumble bacon and set aside.
- Cook onion in drippings until tender.
- Stir in beans, brown sugar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and prepared mustard.
- Turn into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
- Bake, uncovered, in 350° oven for 1 1/2 hours.
- Stir and top with bacon.
