Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 (16 oz.) can cherry pie filling (you can use any pie filling you wish)
  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
  • 2 sticks butter or margarine

Method

  • Grease a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
  • Drain pineapple and spread over bottom of pan, corner to corner.
  • Spread the pie filling the same. Dump the cake mix (dry) on top of the fruits.
  • Spread as evenly as possible. Sprinkle on the nuts.
  • Melt the butter and pour all over the top. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
  • Easy.
