Ingredients
- 3/4 c. hot water
- 1/2 c. sugar cane syrup or molasses
- 1/4 c. milk
- 2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans, roasted
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Method
- In medium bowl, combine water and syrup, stirring until well blended.
- Stir in milk until blended.
