Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Cointreau or other orange liqueur
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • None None Finely grated zest and juice of 1 orange
  • 1 lb strawberries, hulled, and sliced
  • 1 cup thick vanilla-honey yogurt
  • 12 None slices almond bread or thin biscotti

Method

  • In a saucepan, combine Cointreau, sugar and orange zest and juice. Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat. Add strawberries and set aside for at least 20 mins to marinate.
  • Arrange strawberries, yogurt and almond bread in separate bowls. Drizzle yogurt with some of the strawberry syrup. Allow guests to serve themselves.
