Ingredients
- 3 lb. smoked sausage
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 12 oz. hot picante sauce
- 1 c. bourbon
Method
- Cook sausage according to package directions, then slice. Combine brown sugar, sauce and bourbon in Dutch oven.
- Add sausage.
- Simmer, uncovered, for 2 hours, stirring often.
- Place in crock-pot to keep warm.
