Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
- 1 c. cake flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 c. shredded coconut
Method
- Thoroughly blend butter, sugar and cake flour; spread in lightly greased 8-inch pan.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
- Beat eggs and brown sugar until thick; add sifted dry ingredients.
- Add nuts and coconut; spread over first mixture.
- Continue baking 30 minutes.
- Cut in squares and cool in pan.
- Makes 2 dozen squares.
