Ingredients
- 1 c. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 2 c. table salt
- 2/3 c. water
- food coloring
Method
- Stir together cornstarch and 1/2 cup cold water in a bowl. Mix in a saucepan 2 cups salt and 2/3 cup water, over low heat, until mixture is very warm.
- Stir cornstarch mixture into water and salt mixture.
- When this gets quite warm and is the consistency of stiff dough, cool, remove from pan and knead like bread.
- Knead food coloring into dough.
- Store in plastic bag at room temperature.
