Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 c. margarine, divided
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. mint extract, divided
  • 2 c. (12 oz. pkg.) chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)

Method

  • Heat oven to 350°.
  • Grease 13 x 9-inch pan.
  • Stir together flour, sugars, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
  • Cut in 3/4 cup butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Beat in eggs and 1/4 teaspoon mint extract; spread into pan.
  • Bake 23 to 25 minutes or until toothpick is inserted and comes out clean.
