Ingredients

  • 1 lb. butter
  • 2 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. syrup
  • 2 tsp. pure vanilla
  • 4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 4 c. Rice Krispies
  • 6 c. quick cooking oatmeal

Method

  • Cream first 6 ingredients.
  • Sift together dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture.
  • Blend in Krispies and oatmeal.
  • Drop by tablespoons onto cookie sheet that has been sprayed with Pam. Bake at 375° for about 15 minutes.
  • This is a healthy and delicious cookie.
