Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. milk, scalded
- 1/3 c. margarine
- 1/3 c. sugar
- dash of salt
- 2 beaten eggs
- 4 1/2 c. flour
Method
- Dissolve yeast in warm water.
- Add sugar and baking powder. Let stand 20 minutes.
- Scald milk; add margarine, sugar and salt. Cool; add eggs.
- Combine yeast with milk mixture in large bowl. Combine with flour.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Two hours before serving, make into dinner rolls.
- Let rise 2 hours.
- Bake at 400° for 10 minutes.
- Makes 12 large rolls.
