Ingredients

  • 1 lb. can salmon
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. liquid (salmon juice and milk)
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 c. bread, torn into small pieces
  • 1 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs

Method

  • Hard-cook the eggs.
  • Drain the salmon into a liquid measure. Break salmon into pieces.
  • Melt 2 tablespoons margarine in saucepan; add flour and mix well.
  • Add the liquid and stir well. Cook until thick and smooth, stirring constantly.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, chopped eggs and onions.
