Ingredients

  • 1 lb. crab
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c. celery, chopped
  • 4 Tbsp. bacon drippings
  • 2 boiled eggs, diced
  • 1 raw egg
  • 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 tsp. hot sauce
  • salt and pepper

Method

  • Saute onion, green pepper and celery in bacon drippings and butter.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add other ingredients.
  • Put mixture in shells or casserole dish.
  • Brush tops with equal parts of milk and catsup.
  • Bake at 400° for 15 minutes or until slightly browned around edges.
