Ingredients
- 2 lb. round steak, cut in 2-inch pieces
- 1 to 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 3/4 c. cooked onions
- celery seed
Method
- Coat steak with flour and paprika.
- Brown in oil in skillet. Add salt, pepper and 1 cup water.
- Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes, or until tender.
- Place in casserole.
- Heat soup in pan drippings, blending in 3/4 cup water.
- Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Combine with meat mixture and onions; mix well.
- Top with celery seed.
- Bake at 350° until bubbly.
