Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. melted butter
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. flour, sifted
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Method

  • Beat eggs well.
  • Add sugar, beat well.
  • Dissolve cocoa in butter.
  • Add to sugar and egg mixture.
  • Add sifted flour and other ingredients.
  • Pour in unbuttered pan and place in another pan of water.
  • Bake 45 minutes until crisp on top at 350°.
  • Cut into squares and serve with ice cream.
