Ingredients
- 1 c. millet
- 4 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. unsweetened coconut
- 1/2 c. toasted almonds (can be chopped)
- 3/4 c. pitted dates, chopped
- raisins, apricots and other dried fruit to taste (optional)
Method
- Combine the millet, water and salt in saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer.
- Just before serving, stir in coconut, almonds and dates.
- Makes 4 servings.
