Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp. minced onion flakes
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, cooked and drained
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 c. uncooked Minute rice

Method

  • Brown the first 5 ingredients and cook 3 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, combine spinach, soup, sour cream and rice. Add meat mixture and pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Top with cheese. Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted. Cut into squares. Can be made a day ahead. Freeze leftover portions for later use.
