Ingredients
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 pkg. dates, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. white syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. nuts
Method
- Cook milk, sugar and syrup to soft ball stage. Add dates and nuts; cook 5 more minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from fire. Add vanilla and butter. Beat until creamy.
- Spread on wet cloth. Let stand until cool; roll and cut in slices.
