Ingredients
- 3 c. sugar
- 2 c. sliced dates
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Cook milk and sugar over low heat.
- Stir until sugar is dissolved.
- Continue cooking until soft ball stage is reached. Add dates.
- Cook two or three minutes more.
- Remove from heat. Cool until lukewarm.
- Add nuts.
- Stir until real thick.
- Turn out on a piece of wet cloth and roll to form roll.
- Place in refrigerator.
- Slice to serve.
