- 1 lb. Italian sausage
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. basil leaves
- pinch of oregano
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 10 oz. lasagne noodles
- 8 oz. Ricotta cheese
- 1/2 c. Romano cheese, grated
- 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1 lb. thin-sliced Mozzarella cheese
Method
- Brown sausage slowly with garlic, salt and pepper.
- Drain fat. Add basil, oregano and tomato paste along with enough water to make a medium-thick sauce.
- Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring often.
