Ingredients
- 6 thick slices raisin bread
- 2 c. lowfat milk, scalded
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Extra raisins (handful)
- Grnd cinnamon
Method
- Soak bread in scalded lowfat milk for 5 min.
- Add in butter, salt, sugar, Large eggs and vanilla.
- Mix well.
- Pour into greased 1 1/2 qt casserole.
- Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon.
- Place casserole in pan of warm water on middle rack.
- Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 to 50 min or possibly till center is hard.
- Serve hot.
- May be topped with whipped cream!
