Ingredients
- 1 gal. milk
- 3 c. sugar
- 12 eggs
- 3 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. salt
Method
- Heat milk in double boiler.
- Let almost boil.
- Add sugar gradually while stirring.
- Beat eggs in blender and add some of the hot milk to eggs, then add egg mixture to hot milk.
- Cook until custard coats the spoon.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly and add vanilla and salt.
