Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb. lean or regular ground beef
  • 1/2 c. shredded carrot (about 1/2 large)
  • 1 small onion, chopped (about 1/4 c.)
  • 1/4 c. raisins
  • 1 tsp. curry powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt (if desired)
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 3 c. Bisquick original baking mix
  • 2/3 c. boiling water

Method

  • Cook ground beef in 10-inch skillet, stirring frequently, until brown; drain and rinse.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients except baking mix and boiling water.
  • Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
  • Simmer uncovered 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
