Ingredients
- 1/2 packet pie crust mix
- 2 tsp. chopped nuts
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. butter, melted
- 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
- 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 c. brandy or light flavoring
- 1 c. pecan halves
Method
- Heat oven to 375°.
- Prepare pastry for 9-inch one-crust pie except stir in chopped nuts before adding water.
- In small mixer bowl, beat eggs, sugar, salt, butter, syrup and cream.
- Stir in vanilla, brandy or flavoring and pecans.
- Pour into pastry lined pie pan.
- Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until filling is set and pastry is golden brown.
- Cool.
- Serves 10 to 12.
