Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons chopped fresh dill, to your taste
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • fresh lemon juice to taste

Method

  • Blend the yogurt and sour cream together in a a small bowl. Put the cumin and paprika in a small skillet. Over moderate heat, toast the spice, stirring often, until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Blend into the yogurt mixture along with the dill. Scrape the dressing over the salad and adjust the flavor with salt, pepper and lemon juice as needed.
