Ingredients
- 7 lb. cucumbers
- 5 lb. granulated sugar
- 10 cents worth of cinnamon sticks, cut up fine
- 1 clove
Method
- Wash and cover whole cucumbers in brine strong enough to hold up an egg for 3 weeks.
- Take them out and let them lay in warm water for 2 or 3 hours.
- Wash them and cover with vinegar for 10 days.
