- 3/4 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. water
- 8 lasagne noodles, uncooked
- 1 carton Ricotta cheese
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, grated
- 1 egg, beaten slightly
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
Method
- Crumble ground meat into plastic colander over mixing bowl; microwave on High for 5 minutes, stirring at 2 1/2 minutes. Discard drippings.
- Combine meat, sauce, water and Italian seasoning; set aside.
- Combine Ricotta cheese, egg, parsley, pepper and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese in a separate bowl.
- Pour 1/4 inch of meat sauce in a baking dish.
- Layer noodles, Ricotta cheese mixture and then Mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with plastic wrap; microwave on High for 8 minutes.
- Simmer (1/3 power) for 20 minutes.
- Sprinkle on remaining Parmesan cheese.
- Allow to stand 15 minutes before serving.
