Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound pork sausage
  • 1 1/2 c. apples, finely minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon grnd cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon grnd nutmeg
  • 1 c. (4 ounce.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 4 Large eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. half & half
  • 1/2 c. biscuit mix

Method

  • Cook sausage till browned, stirring to crumble, drain well.
  • Set aside.
  • Combine apple, cinnamon, nutmeg, cheese and sausage in a mixing bowl.
  • Spoon into a 9 inch quiche dish or possibly deep dish pie plate.
  • Combine Large eggs, half and half and biscuit mix.
  • Mix well, pour over apple mix.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 40 min or possibly till set.
  • Yield: 1 (9 inch) quiche.
