Ingredients

  • 10 oz. pkg. chopped frozen spinach, thawed
  • 8 oz. can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
  • 3/4 c. chopped green onions
  • 1 envelope vegetable soup mix
  • 1 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 large round sourdough bread
  • garlic powder
  • olive oil
  • assorted raw vegetables

Method

  • In medium bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well.
  • Cover and chill overnight to blend flavors.
  • Hollow out sourdough round, baste with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder.
  • Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
  • Cool.
  • Fill with vegetable mixture.
  • Serve with baked bread cubes and fresh vegetables.
