Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef, turkey, or chicken
- Lasagna noodles
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 1/2 cups cottage cheese
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
Method
- Brown the meat in a pan and drain
- Spoon 1 cup of the spaghetti sauce into a 4 qt crock pot. Mix the remaining sauce with the meat.
- Place 2 uncooked lasagna noodles into the crock pot. Spread 1/3 of the meat mixture over the noodles
- Spread 3/4 cup cottage cheese over the meat. Then sprinkle 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese on top
- Add another layer of uncooked noodles, 1/3 of the meat mixture, the remaining cottage cheese, and 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
- Place another layer of uncooked noodles and the rest of the meat mixture and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top
- Cook on low for 4 hours. Do NOT cook for more than 4 hours or it will become overdone
