Ingredients
- 6 c. thinly sliced, peeled potatoes
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 (4 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese (1 c.)
- 1/2 c. fresh bread crumbs
Method
- About 30 minutes before serving, preheat oven to 425°.
- In greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan, toss potatoes and salt together; arrange in even layers.
- Drizzle melted butter or margarine over potatoes.
- Sprinkle cheese over potatoes and sprinkle with bread crumbs.
- Bake 20 minutes or until fork-tender.
- Makes 10 servings.
