Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. yeast
  • 1/4 C. warm water
  • 2 - 2 1/2 C. flour
  • 1 C. cottage cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. instant onion
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 tsp. dill weed
  • 1 tps. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 egg, beaten

Method

  • Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  • Meanwhile heat cottage cheese and butter until butter is just melted - only luke warm.
  • Combine sugar, onion, dill weed, salt and baking soda in a large bowl. Add cottage cheese and butter; mix well.
  • Add egg; mix well.
  • Add yeast mixture; mix well.
  • Slowly add flour; mix well.
