Ingredients

  • 1 c. chopped ham
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. broccoli
  • 2 c. milk
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 c. cubed Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper

Method

  • Boil ham in water for 10 minutes.
  • Add broccoli; cook until tender.
  • Gradually add milk to flour; stir well to blend. Gradually add milk mixture to ham mixture, stirring constantly, until mixture slightly thickens.
  • Simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add cheese and seasonings.
  • Cook until cheese melts slightly.
  • Serves 4 to 6.
