Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 jar (7 oz.) marshmallow cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Method

  • Combine sugar and milk in 3 qt.
  • glass bowl or casserole.
  • Microwave on high for 6 minutes.
  • Stir.
  • Microwave 2 minutes more.
  • Stir.
  • Microwave 4-5 minutes more or until temperature reaches 236F (soft ball stage) on a candy thermometer, stirring every 30 seconds to keep mixture from boiling over.
  • Add peanut butter, marshmallow creme and vanilla.
  • Beat until well blended, using a wooden spoon.
  • Pour into greased 8-inch square baking pan.
  • Cool and cut into squares.
