Ingredients

  • 1 can Osage peaches (Raggedy Ripe), drained
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon or peach jello
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 1 c. peach juice
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • dash of nutmeg

Method

  • Drain peaches; reserve syrup.
  • Soften cream cheese.
  • Dissolve jello in hot water.
  • Add softened cream cheese and beat with rotary beater.
  • Add peaches, cut in pieces, lemon juice and peach syrup.
  • Pour into square Pyrex dish (or other container) that has been greased with mayonnaise.
  • Sprinkle with nutmeg, if desired. Refrigerate until set firmly.
  • Cut into squares to serve.
