Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 3 c. coarsely shredded cabbage
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 10 slices bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 1 c. water
- paprika
Method
- In a 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, in hot butter, cook cabbage and onions until tender, stirring occasionally.
- Add bacon; cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in soup, milk and water until smooth.
- Heat through, stirring occasionally. Ladle into bowls; sprinkle with paprika.
